What is an Ambassador?
In diplomacy, an ambassador is a nation's representative, tasked with providing a connection to that nation in a foreign land. Remember Ambassadors uses the same model to bless the Body of Christ by tapping the power of passionate people.
Remember's Ambassadors have the same goal. They are people with a passion for the Body of Christ, and are willing to represent suffering believers in their churches, homes, and community groups. They are willing to stay informed, become equipped, and actively reach out to local believers on behalf of the needs of the persecuted church. An Ambassador is a link, connecting the local church to the persecuted church overseas.
What does an Ambassador do? That answer varies from situation to situation. An Ambassador can be a prayer warrior, resource point, or church contact. They can provide testimonies, keep their friends informed, show videos, or stuff bulletin inserts. An Ambassador can even pick the tools to use–whether a blogger, speaker, writer, or behind-the-scenes coordinator, there is no end to the way that an Ambassador can work to connect the local church to the worldwide persecuted Body of Christ.
The Remember Ambassadors project is still in the development stage, so we hope that you will let us know what we can do to equip you.
